Is there a correlation between the peace sign and car symbols, like mercedes and toyota?
Has anyone else noticed the similarties between the peace sign and the car symbols?
Sheer marketing.
Car companies want to ride on the positive connotations of the peace symbol. So, they use basic variations on the peace sign's general shape and image so that they can make people think of the good emotions they have when they see the peace sign without them making the connection that what they are seeing is in fact a minor variation on that same thing.
