Is this considered advanced language skills?
My 13 month old has a pretty good vocabulary...she is always asking me "that?" Meaning what's that. Some of the other words she says are:
Yes
No
Yay
All done
socks (but it comes out oscks)
bye
hi
hat
out
mama
dad
bad dog (don't ask)
yum
also she is great at recalling information. She can point to belly, her nose, the american flag, the sky, the grass, a picture of a cat, her feet, a hat, our dog, mickey mouse and balloons when asked specifically where these items are.
Is she advanced for 13 months?
BTW she said her first word at 6 months old. No kidding!!

Anyway, I personally believe you daughter is ahead of most kids her age and will probably grow up to be very intelligent. I am not just saying that, I was an early language developer, and had an easy time all though school, was in advanced classes, enrichment, etc.
Last week, my 3yo commented as we were leaving the grocery store that the door was "automatic". The lady behind us actually said, "my that is a very big word." I guess most kids his age don't talk like that. Who knew?
Yes, I think she is smart, and there is nothing wrong with being proud of her.
