I'm planning to get my rook pierced and I am wondering if there are barbells with crystal balls on the ends (like you would normally see in Belly Button Rings),instead of metal ones, that you can use for rook piercings.

Yes you can find them however, initially it is not always a good idea to use them.
The jewelry used in a new piercing has to be run through an auto clav. the auto clav exposes the jewelry to a combination of heat steam and pressure. Sometimes the process can compromise the integrity of the gems. Usually causing them to fall out.
Also keep in mind when you have a gemmed bead there is not a smooth surface of your jewelry which leaves places for bacteria to build up.
Beads are not always interchangeable. Sometimes it works out but sometimes if the threading does not line up perfectly, which can cause the bead to fall off or get stuck.
I would suggest waiting until the initial healing period is over to get a barbell like that.

how do we do this??
when i was pregnant with my daughter my cousin used a crystal thing to determine the sex of the baby......she held it over my belly and said that if it swang back and forth it was a boy and if it swang in a circle it was a girl (or was it the opposite??) anyways...it was right with my daughter. now my cousin is in another state and me and my hubby were going to attempt this on our own. we heard it works with a wedding ring...is that true? and if so what do we tie to it to hang it above my belly (ie string, necklace chain....)? before you say anything we realize that this kind of thing is just an old wives tale....we are just wanting to do it for fun....
