All Fancy Dangle
I'm trying to connect my PS3 and receiver with an optical able but I can't get the cable to go snap in?!
I'm trying to connect my optical cable to the PS3 and receiver, but I can't get the cable to snap into any of the outputs.
Am I supposed to jam the thing in really hard because the plug and the tip doesn't seem to go in all the way. It just kinda dangles inside.
This is what I'm using:

Many optical cables ship with a plastic protector on the tips - make sure you removed these before trying to connect to your equipment.
Also, and I can't quite tell from the picture, the PS3's optical port is square/short, but some optical cables use a long skinny connector. There are adapters - the cable probably came with some, otherwise check Radio Shack.
